Declaration of Kalliasseri as an Extreme Poverty-Free Panchayat
As part of the Extreme Poverty Eradication Programme initiated by the Government of Kerala, Kalliasseri Grama Panchayat implemented various activities to identify and support individuals and families living in extreme poverty. Various interventions were undertaken to address their basic needs and ensure their social and economic well-being.
Benefits of various government schemes and services were extended to eligible beneficiaries to ensure basic necessities such as housing, food, healthcare, livelihood opportunities and social security. The collective efforts of elected representatives, officials, Kudumbashree workers, various government departments, voluntary organisations and the general public contributed significantly to the successful implementation of these activities.
As part of the successful completion of the extreme poverty eradication activities, Kalliasseri Grama Panchayat was declared an Extreme Poverty-Free Panchayat.
