2023-24 Annual Plan
The Panchayat Annual Plan is a comprehensive document outlining the development activities and welfare programmes that the Gram Panchayat intends to implement during a financial year. The plan is prepared by collecting the needs of the village and the opinions of the people through the Gram Sabhas, while taking into account the financial resources available. Prepared with active public participation, the Annual Plan contributes to the overall development of the village.
Key Stages of the Annual Plan
- Collect development proposals from the Gram Sabhas.
- Assess the needs of various sectors and determine priorities.
- Prepare a draft plan through the Development Seminar.
- Obtain approval from the Panchayat governing body.
- Implement and monitor the plan after obtaining approval from the concerned authorities.
