1. Development Standing Committee

The Development Standing Committee is an important standing committee responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the development activities of the Grama Panchayat. 2. Finance Standing Committee

The Finance Standing Committee is an important standing committee responsible for managing and monitoring the financial affairs of the Grama Panchayat. The committee plays an important role in matters related to Panchayat revenue, expenditure, budget, tax collection, and financial planning.

The major responsibilities of the committee include preparing the annual budget, increasing sources of revenue, controlling expenditure, improving tax collection, and reviewing financial transactions.

3. Health and Education Standing Committee

The Health and Education Standing Committee is an important committee responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring activities related to health and education in the Grama Panchayat.

The committee deals with matters such as improving healthcare services, sanitation activities, disease prevention, drinking water safety, improvement of school infrastructure, and enhancement of the quality of education.

The committee plays an important role in preparing and implementing various programmes to improve public health and children’s education and in reviewing their progress.

4. Welfare Standing Committee

The Welfare Standing Committee is an important committee responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring various welfare activities of the Grama Panchayat.

The committee plays an important role in implementing various welfare schemes and social security programmes for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, women, children, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities, and economically weaker sections of society.

The committee works to ensure social welfare and to help eligible people benefit from various government welfare schemes.
